So, I guess the former drummer of Nile has a rock band called Psycho Spoon.
I guess, from what I can detect, that this band is about to record its debut album, and as far as I can tell, Nile frontman Karl Sanders is producing it.
Psycho Spoon was formed by Pete Hammoura, who was Nile’s founding drummer.
Sanders has agree to produce Incognito, the band’s forthcoming initial offering.
The disc will be tracked next month and be in stores this April.
Psycho Spoon was formed in the fall of 2009 by longtime friends and musical collaborators Rick Ballenger and Hammoura.
A press release says they had a clear vision of what they wanted to accomplish with the band, and that was to play rock and roll from the heart. Five songs were written in a short period of time, at which point the band entered the studio to lay down the tracks.
The name’s shit, but I’ll be sure to give the music a chance this April.
