There was a good spell there where I was way into punk rock, dude. Like way into punk. And The Exploited were one of the bands I used to listen to all the time with the punk rock chicks I’d be give my Sid Vicious to.
Now, Nuclear Blast Records, for some reason, have signed the British punk legends.
Says the band’s Wattie Buchan:
“At last, after giving my word four years ago that we would sign to Nuclear Blast, it’s now official! For us it’s a big deal to be signing to the biggest indie record company in Europe. One of the main reasons we signed to them is the fact that Marcus, the owner, is a big Exploited fan and I know he will give us 100-percent backing to make the next album as great as the last ones. P.S. It WILL be this year sometime!!!!! Punks Not Dead.”
Tell that to my dentist. And Green Day.
The recordings for the new album are expected to take place in spring, so expect the album in stores this fall.
