Now this is something I feel isn’t exploitative.
There are a ton of people who — because of geographical or physical limitations — will never get a chance to see Obituary.
But they likely have access to the webernets, which basically puts the world at our fingertips. Thanks, Al Gore!
Obituary will perform their first three albums — 1989′s Slowly We Rot, 1990’s Cause Of Death and 1992’s The End Complete — the night of June 8, live.
Fans can watch the set — going down somewhere in Florida — at this location, for a nominal fee.
And by nominal, I mean $5.
That’s pretty fucking cool. Obituary are the business. And the June 8 show should be dope.
Perhaps the band’s doing this to raise money for their next studio sessions.
Obituary are currently working on a new album. So get pumped for that.
