This is exactly what the world needs: A solo album from the singer of a band that hasn’t ever been good. That will make the world a better place. Absolutely.
Wayne Static will release his new solo album Pighammer on October 4 through Dirthouse Records. Who?
The high-hair-havin’ Static-X singer has released a snippet from the new record, to tease “fans” with.
“The Pighammer concept conjures up bizarre images,” assumes Static. “It’s about a mad plastic surgeon, with a pig fetish, that likes to convert hot chicks into pigs. It is the total opposite if what a plastic surgeon would do. He has this crazy hammer device made from a pig foot. The images of the surgery in the CD package are only a dark comedic visualization of the real theme of the album, which is my transformation…”
So, it’s about this weird surgeon, but ultimately, about his transformation? I don’t get that. And the whole hammer thing is just lame. Like, who gives a shit, dude.
