Old Man Gloom Show Booked

This is mighty cool, and not to be missed if you’re living in the New York City area.

Old Man Gloom (which features members of Converge, Isis, Cave In) have booked a show for May 8 at Europa in Brooklyn.

The Austerity Program and Psychic Limb will open the show, brought to us by 1000 Knives.

Tickets are currently on sale here.

In related news, the May 22 stop on Nasum’s tour with Brutal Truth will feature Converge’s Jacob Bannon on vocals.

The show — in Providence — will see Bannon tackling vocals on a number of tunes, as a tribute to fallen Nasum frontman and guitarist Mieszko Talarczyk.

That show happens at AS220. As previously reported, Nasum have enlisted Rotten Sound‘s Keijo Niinimaa to handle Talarczyk‘s parts on the tour.
