Opeth Playing Special Record Store Day Set

My thoughts are with the people of Boston at this time, knowing it very well could have happened in New York, my home city.

I used to work in Times Square, where plots were thwarted almost weekly. I can’t stand this terrorism shit, particularly when no one takes responsibility after the fact.

It just leaves things open to speculation. I have already read on Facebook that the Boston bombs were the work of North Korea, Al-Qaeda, a pro-gun fanatic, and a Yankees fan.

Anyways, Swedish progressive metal masters Opeth will celebrate “Record Store Day” this weekend with a free acoustic performance and signing in Massachusetts.

The special set goes down April 20 at 3:00 p.m at Newbury Comics in Leominster, Massachusetts.

The band will be in town with Katatonia, which I need to get tickets to.
