How did I know Sharon would take her son Jack Osbourne’s tragic diagnosis, and make it about her?
Both Ozzy Osbourne and his wife, Sharon, spoke to Britain’s Hello! magazine about their son’s revelation that he has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, a debilitating disease.
“I keep thinking, ‘What did I do wrong? What did I eat or drink when I was pregnant?,’” Sharon says. “I feel like it’s somehow my fault.”
‘If it was me, you’d think: ‘Ozzy had a reputation and it caught up with him,’” Ozzy said. “But Jack is such a good guy.”
Jack and his fiancée, Lisa Stelly, welcomed a daughter named Pearl Clementine in April.
“I was just angry and frustrated and kept thinking, ‘Why now?,’” Jack said. “I’ve got a family and that’s what’s supposed to be the most important thing.”
Multiple sclerosis is a chronic disease that attacks the central nervous system. Symptoms may be mild, such as numbness in the limbs, or severe, such as paralysis or loss of vision.
The progress, severity, and specific symptoms of MS are unpredictable and vary from one person to another.
