If you don’t wanna send in a video tape of yourself head banging to Pantera, maybe you should sign up for the thankless task of music video extra?
The Pantera camp posted on Facebook yesterday that “Los Angeles area fans” are “needed for video shoot!”
The post says: “On March 27th 2012, We will be shooting a video for our unreleased single ‘Piss.’ If you’re in Southern California you’re eligible to come mosh and rock out! This is quite the opportunity…to be in a milestone music video for a song that has been unreleased for over 20 years!!! We want the greatest headbangers the world has ever seen!! If interested please send the following to the following e-mail address: [email protected],” the post says.
You need to send Pantera a recent photo of yourself; your name, phone number, address, email, and age (you must be over 18); and your availability on March 27, 2012.
“Due to space constraints, the number of people chosen will be limited. If you’re picked for the video, exact shooting location and time will be sent to you, but it will be somewhere in the Los Angeles area. You will need to arrange your own transportation to and from set. The band will not be on set for the shoot, but you will get the chance to hear the new song before it’s released! Note, this video is not for pay, but will be a raging good time!”
The band won’t be there? That’s whack.
The finished video is set to debut at Revolver Magazine‘s annual sham of an awards show, “the Golden Gods Awards.” That travesty takes place at Club Nokia in Los Angeles on April 11.
