Papa Roach continues to exist. It fucking pisses me off. There are so many incredible bands out there that could blow these dudes off the stage, and yet, no one will ever love them like we do.
That’s a crying shame. That some people think Papa Roach is the epitome of heavy music makes me wanna climb a clocktower.
Here’s a press release I got yesterday: “Rock berserkers [Edit: That’s hilarious] and multi hit-makers Papa Roach have announced the title to their hotly anticipated upcoming fall album.
“The Connection is set for release on October 2nd on Eleven Seven Music. The new album was recorded at the band’s hometown studio, The Red House in Sacramento, CA and was produced by rock veteran James Michael (Sixx:A.M., Halestorm) and John Feldmann (Panic at the Disco, The Used, Escape the Fate).”
It’s the band’s sixth foray into dogshit.
“The first single from The Connection is a track called ‘Still Swingin,’ which many fans may have heard during last night’s Major League Baseball All Stars Home Run Derby on ESPN. The track will be featured by ESPN/MLB in select games/events for the next few weeks.”
Great. I knew there was a reason I wasn’t watching SportsCenter as much.
More from the presser: “Known for their electrifying and explosive live shows, Papa Roach have become the common denominator for some of the most successful rock tours in recent years and have critics worldwide hailing them as ‘the best live band.’”
