This year needs to end. Metalheads are not safe in 2010. The other night, Enforcer crashed head-on into a snow plow, and last night, San Diego death metal outfit Pathology were also involved in a serious road crash.
According to Blabbermouth, the accident happened Wednesday night; the band were in the middle of a North American tour as the support act for Nile. The band was driving from St. Paul, Minnesota, to Seattle, Washington, when their van hit a patch of black ice outside Bismarck, North Dakota. That damned black ice!!!
That sent the band rolling a couple of times, all before sliding a few hundred feet. Three members of the band were taken to the hospital for treatment of bumps and bruises; no one sustain any serious damage. Now, with no van, trailer and most of Pathology’s gear damaged, the band has been forced to pull out of the remainder of the trek.
Drummer Dave Astor checks in, saying: “[This was the] worst car wreck in my life! [I feel] lucky to be alive. Everything is destroyed! Extremely traumatized. This tour is absolutely over for us. Infuckingsane!”
