Paul Gray’s Doctor Acquitted

Frankly, I would trust not a word of this man’s advice. I mean, look at those eyes!

It’s a wrap, folks — Paul Gray’s doctor beat the rap this week, and was acquitted of seven counts of involuntary manslaughter.

Daniel Baldi was the late Slipknot bassist doctor, and was accused of causing his death and the deaths of eight others with his careless prescribing habits.

Jurors deliberated over two days before clearing Baldi, whose lawyer contended none of the patients in question died from overdoses of drugs the doctor prescribed.

Baldi still faces several civil lawsuits as well as administrative charges from the Iowa Board of Medicine, which could cost him his medical license.
But hey, he isn’t going to jail. And that’s all that matters to him, I am sure.

Gray’s widow, Brenna Gray, actually testified during the trial (read more on that here).

She had some not-so-nice things to say about Paul’s bandmates in Slipknot.
