Everything! I have no more questions about the album, now that this press release from the band’s label’s found its way to my inbox.
The Maryland-based experimental progressive metal outfit have named their sophomore album, Periphery II: This Time It’s Personal, on July 3 through Sumerian Records.
The CD will feature guest appearances by John Petrucci of Dream Theater, Guthrie Govan of the Aristocrats, and Wes Hauch from The Faceless. And that is the uninspired album art.
“We put so much hard work and time into this album and we thank all of you for your continued support and patience,” says guitarist Misha Mansoor.
“The album clocks in at sixty-nine minutes exactly and has tons of brand new material, so I assure you it is well worth the wait. Make sure to keep on the lookout for the first track which we will be releasing in the coming weeks.”
The album boasts 14 tracks, including “Have a Blast,” “Facepalm Mute,” “Ji,” “Scarley,” “Ragnarok,” “Luck As A Constant,” “Make Total Destroy,” “Epoch,” and “Masamune.”
