Pestilence Reveal New Album’s Cover

Obsideo

That’s it.

What do you think?

I find it quite disturbing to look at. In fact, I want to stop looking at it but I can’t.

Pestilence will enter the studio in February to begin recording their new album, Obsideo.

How often is the album art done before the actual album?

The drum tracks on the CD will be laid down by Dave Haley of Australia’s Psycroptic.

Songtitles set to appear on the effort include “Necromorph,” “Saturation,” “Soulrot,” “Laniatus” and “Superconcious.”

The band’s last album, Doctrine, was released in North America in July 2011 on Mascot Records.
