This is rather interesting.
So, Baltimore photographer J.M. Giordano reached out to us, to let us know about his latest project, which basically consists of portraits of heavily tatted death metal fans.
His “Killer Angels: Faces of Death (Metal)” is a long-form photography project capturing death metal fans in their element, in black and white.
Giordano only shoots at shows, when he comes across subjects who’re raring to fucking go.
Giordano is, himself, a fan of the death metal, and encourages you to browse through his work here.
My one criticism? There’s, like, two chicks in the whole bloody set.
I know there aren’t many chicks in the scene who don’t look like Dan Aykroyd when he temporarily merged with Vigo in “Ghostbusters 2,” but dude…there had to be at least a couple more to shoot.
I hope there are more in the future.
That is all.
Otherwise, nice work dude.
