Last night, while playing a solo show in New Hampshire that I am sure was well attended, Poison frontman Bret Michaels had to leave the stage due to complications involving insulin shock and severe low blood sugar.
He was also suffering from what doctors would later determine was exhaustion, dehydration, fever and the noro flu virus.
Michaels attempted to return to the stage to finish the show, but nearly keeled over.
Paramedics present at the show immediately responded and 911 was notified.
Doctors are working to bring Bret’s blood sugar levels back to normal, but until then, he won’t be playing or spreading STDs.
His show tonight in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, is not going down, as such.
