Project 86 have been working on an album. That album is called Wait For The Siren. Now, we know when that album is coming out.
Wait For The Siren will be coming out on August 21…days before my birthday, which I don’t really celebrate.
A song from the disc — “Fall, Goliath, Fall” — will serve as the first single.
For this album, frontman Andrew Schwab pulled an Axl Rose, and recruited a bunch of dudes to help him pull the disc together.
These dudes included Andrew Welch of Disciple, A Plea For Purging’s Blake Martin, Evanescence’s Rocky Gray, and Cory Driggers from The Wedding.
Living Sacrifice’s Bruce Fitzhugh and Brian “Head” Welch of Love & Death and formerly of Korn will appear on the album as guest vocalists.
“The first time I walked on stage to perform it felt foreign, other-worldly,” Schwab says.
“The freedom I felt was powerful. We were part of an underground movement that took hardcore and made it accessible. With the new album, Wait For the Siren, I wanted to pull from a similar place emotionally while integrating new sounds, new instruments and new collaborations.
“On this record I was really able to take the reins of the creative process in a direction I was passionate about. I was able to write songs that pushed me to grow as an artist. I was also empowered by a great sense of camaraderie in working with so many talented friends.”
