It appears the dudes in Prong recently spent a week in a recording studio in Germany, tracking covers for an impending new record.
The covers LP will be released through the band’s own label.
Frontman Tommy Victor claims Prong reimagined tracks by the likes of Killing Joke (“Seeing Red”) and Bad Brains (“Banned In D.C.”).
Prong also took on Black Flag’s “The Bars,” The Adolescents’ “Kids of the Black Hole,” and The Sisters of Mercy’s “Vision Thing.”
Hüsker Dü’s “Everything Falls Apart” will also appear on the album, due out next year.
The band also covered a song by Neil Young called “Cortez the Killer.”
