More has been revealed, and continues to be revealed about the new Queens of the Stone Age album, which will undoubtedly be more epic than the shit I left in a court house this morning.
Yes, yes — Queens of the Stone Age have a new album coming out this June.
Called …Like Clockwork, it’ll be the first QOTSA album to be released by Matador Records, which is part of Beggars Group, the largest independent label group in the world.
Joshua Homme, who leads the Queens, says the album is “an audio documentary of a manic year.”
Hmm. I’m intrigued.
It is the band’s first album since 2007, and I want it now.
…Like Clockwork will be supported by an extensive world tour, marking QOTSA’s return to the stage for the first time since the limited dates that commemorated the 2011 re-release of the band’s self-titled 1998 debut.
