The Queens of the Stone Age entered a studio some months ago to record a cover of Bob Dylan’s “Outlaw Blues.”
That cover follows at the end of this post. Go listen, and then tell us what you think. Shit’s sweet, I think.
The song was recorded for Amnesty International’s upcoming Bob Dylan tribute, Chimes Of Freedom: The Songs Of Bob Dylan.
The effort will boast a whopping 70 covers, including offerings from Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello, Rise Against, Mariachi El Bronx, Bad Religion and others.
If you like Amnesty International (and really, why wouldn’t you?), you can listen to the entire effort.
