That’s the good word from that rag I used to write for, Rolling Stone.
The mag’s site reports that Queens of The Stone Age wanna return to a studio soon to track that next LP
When asked if the band had material to go, Josh Homme responded with an “Absolutely. We have more than enough songs. We’re booked till September, but after that we plan to jump in the studio and get going.”
So, this coming fall, they could be tracking with a release in early 2015. You’ll be waiting a while, is all I’m saying.
“When it’s time to make music, that’s about getting lost for me. To be a control freak is not half as good as being a freak who’s casually in control. You’re feeling around in the dark for something that feels good. As long as you’re not in an orgy, that can be an amazing moment.”
I’m just realizing now I’ve still not heard the new Queens of the Stone Age album, …Like Clockwork, because I keep forgetting to pick it up from a store near me. It should also be available in a store near you.
