Queens Of The Stone Age, Velvet Revolver Members Start Animated Band

This is weird. Not sure how I feel about this shit.

Members of Queens Of The Stone Age, Velvet Revolver, Weezer and Scars On Broadway — who suck — have teamed up to start a new animated band called PusherJones.

An animated band? Yeah, not sure how I feel about that. The group have joined forces with “The Simpsons“ creative director Dave Warren to create the animated band.

The band features Frankie Perez (of Scars On Broadway/Camp Freddy) on vocals, Velvet Revolver’s Dave Kushner on guitars, Weezer bassist Scott Shriner, and Queens of the Stone Age’s Joey Castillo on drums.

The band’s first single “Count Me Out” will appear on the upcoming “Avengers” soundtrack and can be heard here.

The band is planning a five-song EP, according to Rolling Stone.

Kushner says the group are shopping a pilot of the project around with hopes of it becoming an animated TV series.
