Oh, hell’s fucking yeah, dude. This means I am this much closer to actually seeing the reunited Quicksand live and in the motherfucking flesh.
It stands to reason that if Quicksand played the Revelation Records 25th anniversary shows out on the West Coast that they’d board a flight to New York for the 25th anniversary shows going down in my neck of the fucking world.
Quicksand’s coming to New York, folks. You just wait and see. Believe you me. I need to pee.
Because I’m excited.
Revelation has confirmed rumors that they’d be coming to New York by announcing a series of shows this October at Irving Plaza.
Those shows are set for October 11, 12, 13, and 14, and so far will feature Texas Is The Reason (who are a great fucking band) and Chain Of Strength.
Keep us in your daily interwebs habits as we bring you future updates from our Quicksand Reunion Watch 2012 Headquarters.
[Update: BrooklynVegan — citing trusted sources — claims Quicksand is not going to be playing the fest, but will play in New York sometime in August.]
