I was over on ThePRP before and discovered that there’s a new tribute coming out to Ozzy Osbourne’s late guitarist Randy Rhoads.

The effort was masterminded by drummer Brian Tichy, who used to pound the skins for Ozzy back in the day. The album will be released by his awkwardly named record label, Tish Tone Records.

The compilation will carry the title Randy Rhoads Remembered, Vol.1, implying this is merely the first in a possible series of releases.

There’s even a track on there from Randy’s bro, Kelle Rhoads.

The record will boast contributions from the likes of Alex Skolnick of Testament and Phil Demmel from Machine Head, but will also include appearances by Korn’s Ray Luzier and Megadeth mainstay David Ellefson.

The spellbounding talents of Sebastian Bach will also appear on the disc, along with members of bands like Angra, Whitesnake, Ugly Kid Joe, and Kill Devil Hill.

By this time next month, the album will be in stores.
