RATM, Faith No More Singers Appearing On New Deltron 3030 Release

Mike Patton

And now, in “not at all metal” news, it seems both Rage Against The Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha and my hero, Faith No More mainman Mike “James Brown’s got nothing on me” Patton, appear on the new album from Deltron 3030.

The album is called Deltron 3030: Event II and a track from the effort follows at the end of this post.

It’s the song Patton provides background vocals on, called “City Rising From The Ashes.”

The track “Melding Of The Minds” boasts de la Rocha’s pipes.

The album will also feature guest spots from a number of actors, actresses and other musicians, including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, David Cross, and Damon Albarn of Gorillaz.

The album drops October 1.

Deltron 3030, as you may know, is a project boasting Del The Funky Homosapien, Dan The Automator and Kid Koala. The Automator also worked with Patton in Lovage and Peeping Tom.
