How, I ask, is this possible?
I mean, Ratt and Dokken…I know they sold records during the ‘80s, and likely continue to sell records in third world countries where they’re just getting the internet, but enough to pay for a private plane and its gas?
I only know that they can afford to because a private plane carrying members of Ratt and Dokken had to make an emergency landing in Illinois the other day, after a fire broke out on board.
The pilot and flight attendant were able to get the fire under control and landed the plane, which was carrying 13 passengers.
No one was hurt, according to reports.
Both bands are in the middle of a four-city tour with Sesbastian Bach and Lita Ford.
“We are all OK and happy to be alive,” Ratt’s manager Rob Hoffman tells Blabbermouth. “The tour rolls on!”
