Celtachor

I like using the one Irish slang term I know in headlines. That’s maybe the fifth time in the last 15 years that I have. Wild.

Today, we present to you a band that makes me proud to be both Irish and the founder of a site read by its members.

We got an email from Stephen Roche, the frontman and whistle player for Celtachor a while ago, and he asked us to give the band a write-up.

Celtachor are Irish blackened folk metal inspired and based on Irish Mythology, and holy fuck, do I love ‘em.

New favorite band right here.

“I would be interested in getting our new album Nine Waves From The Shore reviewed on your site,” he writes, furthering adding how big a fan he is of the site’s pull-no-punches style.

Hey Stephen — how’s this instead?

I have listened to the band’s album online, and that shit is killer. I may actually purchase a copy. Take that!

Check out the following Celtachor track, and try telling me this isn’t bomb shit.
