Readers’ Bands: Enjoy The Smooth Sounds Of Old Wounds

Old Wounds

This column will never die. Why? Because we get new readers every day, and new bands seem to start every day. At this rate, we’ll never run out of bands to give props — or demerits — to.

Today, the column focuses on New Jersey’s Old Wounds.

We were contacted by frontman Brandon Gallagher, asking if we could offer an honest review of the band’s new record.

He included a link to Old Wounds’ BandCamp and every thang.

But we don’t do reviews so much as we like to feature some of the bands of our readers.

These guys call themselves psychedelic hardcore. That could be a fitting description.

To me, they sound like GlassJaw crossed with Converge, but then again, what do I know.

Listen, and let us know if you dig what these dudes are putting out.
