Readers’ Bands: Philly Sludge From Bardus

The group has played with the likes of Black Tusk, Ken Mode

Good news, kids.

This week’s Readers’ Band is actually halfway decent, which is nice. I like when good bands fucking follow the page, and not ones that sound like more feminine versions of Black Veil Brides.

Bardus are from Philadelphia, and for some reason, the sludgy noise rock outfit remain unsigned.

That’s a tragedy, yo.

“We’ve just self released our first full length, titled Solus onto our Bandcamp page,” the band tells me, adding they’ve shared stages with the likes of Black Tusk, Fight Amp, Ladder Devils, Whores., Ken Mode, and Rosetta.

“We play a similar brand to said bands, so if you’re into that, maybe this might go over well,” says the band’s email.

Oh, it went over well. I dig you Bardus dudes.

And you will, too. Check them out below, and go like them on Facebook if you’re so inclined.
