Rock Allegiance Tour To Feature Buckcherry, Other Crap Bands

I typed ‘Buckcherry Fan’ into Google images — this popped up, and I popped down

Fuck me, man — I can’t pledge anything to this. Who is still into these fucking awful hard rock bands who (I thought) barely sold concert tickets back in the early 2000s? Have these people not heard…well, METAL? If you came to this post because you wanted to see if this piece of shit tour was coming to your town, can I suggest one thing?

Buy an Opeth record. Just do it; trust me. Or — I don’t know — pick up a copy of a Dillinger Escape Plan CD. Listen to the Deftones, and tell me — is Buckcherry still worth your time? What is the appeal with Buckcherry? And Papa Roach?!?! Puddle of Mudd?!?!?! Who is still supporting these goons?

I don’t get it. I guess maybe if I were into wrestling and throwing up lite beer and fisting chicks I’d fucking wanna go to this thing. But P.O.D.?!? Crossfade? Red? I don’t even know if Red is a band, or is they’re describing the stage. And Drive A? I need to know who is going to buy tickets to this thing. Please, come to our Facebook page and clue is in on the appeal.

Those dates after the jump.

“I’m fucking super-stoked to be on this tour,” says Papa Roach’s singer, that Jacobby’s Ladder guy or whatever. Then he plugs the new album and the next record, which is always good for a press release quote.

“It’s our last tour before we go away for a while and make a new record so it’s gonna be an all-out throw down. No place I’d rather be than on a bill of kick-ass rock and roll bands. It’s an amazing way to wrap up our touring cycle on Time for Annihilation.”

“This is a real rock tour for real rock fans,” says Puddle of Mudd’s Wes Scantlin. “We’re looking forward to ending the summer with our good friends. The Rock Allegiance Tour is where it’s at. See ya there!”
