Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival Lineup Officially Announced

I will not be going

There’ll be no surprises in the lineup for regular readers of the site.

This year’s Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival will officially feature Mastodon, Amon Amarth, Rob Zombie, and Five Fisted Gash Munch.

Machine Head are also playing, along with Butcher Babies, Job For A Cowboy, Huntress, and Battlecross.

Who else is playing? All the bands we told you were playing last week, including Children of Bodom, Behemoth, Born Of Osiris, Motionless in White, Thrown Into Exile, and Emmure.

City In The Sea is also playing a stage that’ll mostly boast local acts.

I hate to say it, but by and large, this lineup’s poop.

Amon Amarth are awesome. Behemoth are awesome. Mastodon used to be awesome, but have become less awesome with every subsequent record since their grand sell-out. Bodom used to be bomb, too, and likely still put on a solid show.

The rest of the lineup leaves this asshead wanting more.

Motionless in fucking White, dude? Do these guys have videos of Kevin Lyman turning into a werewolf or something? Why does this band always get an invite to the party?

All tickets go on sale March 22 at 12:00 noon local venue time.
