Rotting Out Announce New EP

‘Reckoning’ to feature two Circle Jerks covers

When I was in college, I listened to a lot of hardcore. I also started becoming fascinated by guitar-driven metal and dabbled with punk.

One of the punk bands I was really into was the Circle Jerks. I guess I’d say I’m still a fan, although I haven’t listened to their music in eons.

But if you’re feeling adventurous and like speedy punk, give the Circle Jerks a try.

It would appear Rotting Out’s members also like the Circle Jerks.

The band’s got a five song EP coming out, and two of the cuts are Circle Jerks covers.

The EP, Reckoning, will be released March 10, and was recorded with producer and engineer Taylor Young at the Pit Studio in Van Nuys, California.

Here’s the track listing:

1. Born
2. Eyes Wide
3. End of the Road
4. I Don’t Care (Circle Jerks cover)
5. Live Fast Die Young (Circle Jerks cover)

“This is an intro to the LP, it’s like a trilogy,” says vocalist Walter Delgado about Reckoning. “I know what I did (‘Born’), I know what I have (‘Eyes Wide’), I know what I’m going to do (‘End Of The Road’).”
