Well, doesn’t this just suck a crab-infested wang, from inside a kiddie pool filled with lethal jellyfish.
Seattle doom quartet Samothrace have pulled out of their impending East Coast tour with Pallbearer and Royal Thunder.
The tour was set to get rolling a week from now.
“Samothrace is very sorry to announce that we will have to cancel our part on the upcoming tour with Pallbearer and Royal Thunder due to an immediate illness in the family of a band member,” says a statement on the tour withdrawal.
I love the word withdrawal. I use it quite often in my every day speech, actually.
It also happens to be my preferred method of birth control these days.
“The most important thing right now is family. We are stoked to have had the opportunity to do the tour and will be planning to make our way out east in the near future. We appreciate the understanding,” the statement concludes.
We wish nothing but positivity for the members of Samothrace, and we hope whatever it is you’re all dealing with is resolved quickly and with the most optimal of results.
