Two song snippets hit the web

Hey kids. Would you like to hear samples from two songs off the forthcoming Triptykon album?

Then go here.

That’s a link to Amazon, which has the two samples available for streaming.

Triptykon — fronted by former Hellhammer and Celtic Frost frontman Tom Gabriel Fischer (a.k.a. Tom Gabriel Warrior) — will release its second album, Melana Chasmata, on April 15.

Personally, I can not fucking wait to hear it. I am foregoing the samples, even, because I’d rather hold off and hear the album the way its meant to be heard — in whole, not song parts.

The CD will be made available through a collaboration between the group’s own label, Prowling Death Records Ltd., and renowned metal giant Century Media Records.

The upcoming album was produced by Tom with guitarist V. Santura and was recorded and mixed at V. Santura’s own Woodshed Studio in southern Germany as well as at Triptykon’s rehearsal facilities in Zurich, Switzerland, in 2013 and 2014.

More material was recorded than what will end up on the sophomore set, with plans for an additional EP or mini album later this year or early next.

Here’s the track listing for the disc, in case I never posted it before, because I think I didn’t:

1. Tree Of Suffocating Souls

2. Boleskine House

3. Altar Of Deceit

4. Breathing

5. Aurorae

6. Demon Pact

7. In The Sleep Of Death

8. Black Snow
9. Waiting
