According to some new leaked details, Samsung is currently working on a Galaxy S6 Plus device and it might launch it within a few weeks. This leaked details come from SamMobile, a well known Samsung source. With other words, there are high chances that all of these leaked details are legit.
According to site’s unnamed insider sources, the device is internally called “Project Zero 2”, and as you can remember the Galaxy S6 was known as “Project Zero”. This leaked information came along with some more details of the Galaxy Note 5. It seems that Samsung is developing both of the phones at the same time.
According to the SamMobile insider, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus will be a bigger version of Galaxy S6 Edge that will have the model number SM-G928. However, this upcoming Galaxy S6 Plus version will not feature an S-Pen stylus.
It is good to know that some earlier rumors suggested that the Galaxy S6 Plus will be launched during IFA 2015, in September, along with the upcoming Galaxy Note 5. However, according to these new rumors, it seems that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus will be released in the upcoming weeks. It is not yet known when that will happen, but it will be probably happen during this summer.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus Specs
According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus is going to feature a 5.5inch Super AMOLED touch display with dual curved edges, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor (the one that’s found on LG G4 device), a primary camera of 16MP, a secondary camera of 5MP and 32GB of internal memory.
As for the battery, there are no rumors about it, but we will let you know in case we find some details about it. There are no details regarding the display resolution either, if the device will support a microSD card or if it will have the finger scanner feature that’s currently found on the Galaxy S6 device.
