Satan Reveal New Album Art

Life Sentence

And it’s awesome.

Just look at that imagery. A skeletal judge, holding the keys to a fiery cage of death? I know what I’m going to get tattooed on my forehead now!

Satan will release its new album, Life Sentence, on April 29 in Europe and in May in the U.S. on Listenable Records.

The cover artwork for the CD was drawn by Eliran Kantor and depicts a similar graphic concept as that of the band’s debut album, Court In The Act, originally issued 30 years ago .

No wonder I like it so much!

Life Sentence was mixed by Dario Mollo, and was recorded September through November of 2012 at First Avenue Studios in Newcastle, England.

The songs on the album reportedly deal with the following topics: injustice, impending death, reincarnation, atonement, third-world politics, and biblical retribution.
