Sepultura Drop Off Tour, D.R.I. Step In

D.R.I.

I don’t know…if you ask me, this tour just got better.

For reasons unknown and reasons that will perhaps remain unknown, thrash outfit Sepultura have pulled out of a European trek called “Persistence Tour 2010,” which is set to kick off in Belgium on December 3 and runs through December 12 in The Netherlands. In their place, Dirty Rotten Imbeciles — better known as D.R.I. — have been recruited to take their spot.

Am I crazy? This is a step-up, no? I mean, if a Max or Igor were still in the band, maybe it would a colossal bummer. But I wouldn’t be complaining if I had tickets. Not me. Other bands booked for the bill are Sick Of It All (who always put on a solid show), Blood For Blood, Unearth, Evergreen Terrace, and Casey Jones.
