Sepultura Releasing EP As Tribute To Fans

I love when bands issue “tributes” to fans and expect the fans to pay for them

Brazilian and American metal legends Sepultura — or what’s passing for the band these days — are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, and today announced they will be releasing a special tribute to their fans.

The band had asked fans to contribute to the artwork for a new track, and the result is Sepultura Under My Skin.

The EP will be released June 5 on colored vinyl.

The artwork is basically a collage of bad mistakes: tattoos that Sepultura fans the world over have tarnished their temples with.

Additionally, Sepultura have a headlining tour coming up next month with Arsis and Destruction.

Not for nothing, 30 years is a good run. Even if all but one of the dudes in the band now wasn’t in the band’s initial incarnation.
