So, for some reason, two dudes stole all of Shadows Fall’s merch as the band were performing last night in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Somewhere in North Carolina, two dudes have hundreds of Shadows Fall shirts right now. In various sizes. Either they plan to try to sell the merch online, or they never want to do their laundry ever again.
Last night’s gig was at the Southland Ballroom.
Says the band:
“Last night we had a great show in Raleigh EXCEPT for the idiot who was nice enough to try steal our merch TWICE off our table as we played (tough to watch the merch when we are all on stage since we’re the guys who sell it on this run)…. So anyways our man Mikey leaped off stage and half the crowd gave chase too but unfortunately him and his buddy got away in a red Toyota/Honda compact car with the license plate CFP4362 NC — so thanks to our fans who actually came to our aid to try to get this loser (you call yourself a ‘fan’?) — karma will get you for sure!!”
[UPDATE: Good news! We’ve heard from Brian Fair, an occasional columnist for the site, and he claims the merch thieves didn’t make off with a thing. “Luckily he didn’t get away with anything,” says Fair. “We got him and fans surrounded his car. All good. We didn’t lose anything.”]
