Man, I feel like this is a headline I would have loved writing back in 1996, and dagnabbit, I’m happy to write it in 2011, too. Snapcase and Sick Of It All? In New York City? Oh yeah, dude — it’s on.
Sick Of It All will be playing a show at Webster Hall on March 26 to commemorate their 25th anniversary! The band’s been making waves in the New York hardcore scene since 1986, and I’ve seen these dudes fuck shit up numerous times with bands like Vision of Disorder and 25taLife, and they always put on a sick show.
Sick Of It All released their last record in 2010. Called Based on a True Story, they’ve been touring quite vigorously in support of the effort.
Oh wait — because I am writing this as I read the press release, it seems Merauder and Razorblade Handgrenade will also be on the bill. Dope. Tickets go on sale February 11. Be there or…not. We’re cool either way. You’d be dumb not to go, though.
