And neither do I. Like, I don’t see how Anke Engelke is funny. She’s cute, not funny. And “7 Tage, 7 Köpfe” was OK, but “Ein Herz und eine Seele” was pure shit. The Holocaust wasn’t very funny. At all. Similarly, this bit from “Die Oliver Pocher Show” about Axl Rose is not funny. And is maybe the worst thing to happen since the Holocaust. Could be I don’t get how hilarious it is because I don’t speak German but a good television bit also needs to visually humorous, and this video is not. It’s just fucking weird.
Of course, Slash was in Europe for the EMAs, so he did the talk show circuit there and appeared on this lame-ass chat show to promote his album, the appropriately-titled Slash. The host shows everyone a brief clip of the new video with Fergie (which features boobs, not Fergie’s), and the dude asks Slash about his sex life. The dude is having marital issues, and this dicklick is going to ask him about his sex life. Brilliant!
Then, the host goes on to tell Slash that they’ve got video of Axl and they roll what ends up being an extremely long fucking tape. It’s this fat dude dressed like Axl, who sounds like Danny from The Shining doing the voice of his imaginary friend Tony, and they have him walking a dog that they literally dressed up like Slash. The guitarist took to his Twitter, and claimed “I wasn’t too pleased with the Axl parody on ‘Oliver Pocher Show.’ That wasn’t too cool.” I agree, Slash. It was not cool, it was fucking dumb.
