Slayer Announces Pair Of U.S. Gigs

What’s passing for Slayer these days will play two shows in two venues the band’s not played in some 25 years, according to Blabbermouth.

Slayer will headline concerts at the Hollywood Palladium on Monday, October 28, and New York’s Theater at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, November 27, the night before Thanksgiving.

Gojira and 4Arm will serve as the support acts for both shows.

Registered Slayer fan-club members will be receiving a special email offering them “first-access” to purchase tickets through a special pre-sale that begins tomorrow.

Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, August 9 at 10 a.m. local time.

The MSG show will be Slayer’s first in New York since the Big Four concert at Yankee Stadium on September 14, 2011, and the band’s first Hollywood show since 2010’s Jägermeister Music Tour.
