People, get set.
This year, you may very well want to attend the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival — typically a mecca for douchey yuppie scum.
But this year, the Frankenstein monster that is Slayer will be playing, along with Pallbearer, Unlocking the Truth, and Between The Buried and Me.
The 14th annual four-day camping and music festival will be held on June 11 through June 14 in Manchester, Tennessee — 60 miles south of Nashville.
Alas, Mumford and Sons and that clown Deadmau5 will be headlining two of the nights.
Billy Joel will also be playing the ‘Roo, which I don’t mind. Being a Long Islander, I’ve gotta kinda support Billy. Except imbibed driving Billy. That dude was out of control.
The lineup will boast a bunch of other bands including Florence and the Machine, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, My Morning Jacket, Against Me!, and Royal Blood.
Tickets for Bonnaroo will go on sale at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 17 at the festival’s site. Tickets are $299.50 to $324.50 for general admission. VIP packages are $1,524.50 per pair.
