Slayer, Megadeth Touring Together Even More This Fall

Slayer

So, here’s the thing. I’ve spoken to Dave Mustaine so much lately, I totally ignored a press release I received this morning in my inbox about a bunch of dates Megadeth and Slayer are doing this fall. This is something I’ve known about for a few weeks, and I forgot that it wasn’t news. My bad.

I thought the publicist was just sending out a friendly reminder. But then I noticed everyone else was making a big deal about it, and, well, Slayer and Megadeth will be touring more this fall together. This time, Anthrax will be along for the ride instead of Testament.

You see, right now, Slayer, Megadeth, and Testament are touring under the American Carnage banner. I caught the show in New Jersey the other night and I think caught some sort of cold from some asshole who never learned that you cough into your arm, not your hands. The show was good, even if I barely saw Megadeth. I will make sure I get to this tour even earlier than I did to Carnage, so I can catch Anthrax. I wonder if Public Enemy will swing by any of the Northeast dates for an onstage “Bring Da Noise” collabo? That would be worth the ticket price alone.

Jagermeister is sponsoring the trek, so they’re calling it the 2010 Fall Jagermeister Music Tour, “North America’s biggest thrash tour in 20 years with the 1991 original ‘Clash of the Titans’ lineup.” Jagermeister. That shit’s poison to me. One sip, and it’s heave city for me. I’m yakking up rainbows and shit. Not fun, dudes and dudettes. Now, here’s them dates:
