A fresh tune from Slayer (or what passes for Slayer these days) will debut on April 18, which is also known as Record Store Day.
Slayer’s label Nuclear Blast revealed plans for the song’s release today.
The song is called “When The Stillness Comes,” and I am sure we are all gonna fucking love it.
Because after all, the last few Slayer albums have been nothing but superb.
The commercial release of the song will come with a live recording of “Black Magic” that was recorded live at the 2014 Wacken Open Air festival.
The release will be limited to 5,000 copies only, and will be available on seven-inch vinyl picture disc.
Of course, Slayer’s been working for a while now on their next album, which Terry Date is producing.
No word yet on when that record will be in stores, but honestly, there’s no rush.
