That’s an odd lineup, no? Slipknot’s maggot fans will not be very accepting of Asking Alexandria, I’m sensing. Maybe I am wrong, but I just don’t see the maggots welcoming that shit band with open arms.
They’ll probably like As I Lay Dying, but still. Two shows have been set up and follow on the heels of the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival.
Those shows are booked for August 8 in Holmdel, New Jersey, at PNC Bank Arts Center, and August 9 in Gilford, New Hampshire, at the Meadowbrook US Cellular Pavilion.
In related news, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor’s Tweets seem to indicate there will be a stop in the United Kingdom for the band’s inaugural Knotfest.

Slipknot have a greatest hits album coming called Antennas To Hell; it drops July 17 through Roadrunner Records.
