I was a fan of FX’s “Sons of Anarchy.” The writing on that fucking show was authentic and gritty, and the plot twists were always unexpected.
It’s a shame the series had to end, but I am sure Kurt Sutter’s got more TV in him. I’m just impressed he was able to create “Sons” AND worked as a writer on one of my all-time favorite shows, “The Shield.” The dude’s got a true gift.
Anyways, actor Kim Coates, who played one of the “Sons of Anarchy,” has been cast as the lead in the directorial debut from Slipknot percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan.
Coates will play Officer Downe in a film adaptation of the graphic novel. about a Los Angeles cop incapable of dying.
Reports claim production on the movie is expected to begin sometime next month.
