Slipknot’s Clown Directing “Officer Downe” Flick

Slipknot’s percussionist M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan is gunning to be the next Rob Zombie, it would seem.

Clown has signed on to direct a film adaption of the “Officer Downe” graphic novel, reports claim.

Created by Joe Casey and artist Chris Burnham, “Officer Downe” follows a Los Angeles cop who is often killed in the line of duty, but is telekinetically resurrected by his superiors and sent back onto the streets.

Sounds funky.

I like shit like that. Sounds like “The Crow.” I’m down.

No word yet on when we can expect the film to hit big screens.

Meanwhile, Corey Taylor says next year, Slipknot will get together to work on a new record.

So, there’s that.
