This, according to Corey Taylor.
Corey says his rough timeline for the record is still a way’s away.
But he has an idea in his head.
“Essentially, I want to start looking at putting demos together for Slipknot fall of 2014, to go in the studio in 2015 and start making an album,” he explained to Pulse of Radio.
“So, it’s gonna be a while,” he concluded.
As you know, Corey’s well busy these days with his band Stone Sour, which is the one band he wishes he could be in.
I am telling you. In Taylor’s perfect world, Slipknot would not exist. At this point, the band’s a necessary evil for him. A mosquito.
As you well know, Slipknot’s bassist went belly up in a hotel in Iowa a few years ago, and the band’s members have been torn over their next step ever since.
