Holy mother of Vader! Well, Hurricane Sandy is coming my way, and I am hunkering down in my apartment after working all day out in the rain, and I’m just waiting for this bitch to come and try to fuck up my shit.
If I’m not posting within the next 36 hours, know it’s because I am either overwhelmed with my day job duties or lost power. As I type this, the 70 mile per hour winds are pushing my apartment building back and forth. The New York City skyline — usually visible from my couch — is hidden by clouds.
The trees are whipping like mad, and all I can hear outside are sirens.
The good news is German thrash metal vets Sodom have entered the studio with producer Waldemar Sorychta to start tracking their next LP.
It’ll be out in early 2013.
“Makka finished all the drum tracks [last] Wednesday,” says Thomas “Angelripper” Such, the band’s bassist and leader.
“And believe us, he did a great job and hammered twelve songs in just two days. [This] week, Bernemann will start the guitar recording sessions.”
