A very deep thought.
Terror are one of those bands whose early output still gets me amped, but whose latest offerings have left me flaccid.
So I’m not excited for the album they have been working on.
Yesterday, an unidentified member of Terror logged onto the band’s Twitter page and offered up the following musings on lyrics.
Get ready. Someone is about to defend shallowness.
“Never let someone tell you simple, to-the-point lyrics about brotherhood lack substance just because they’re not cryptic poems,” reads the Tweet.
“There’s more to lyrics than how innovative of a wordsmith you may or may not be. It’s the passion behind them that shines through,” the Tweet concludes.
What do you guys think? Is he right? That’s one way of looking at it.
